Ton is a coppersmith-smith, therapist and musician. For many years he has been an inspiring coach in making singing bowls, gongs, sound pipes and bells in many places in the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, United Kingdom and Belgium.
Helen made her first singing bowl in 2012, under the guidance of Heather and Gabriella of Resounding Earth. The passion for forging singing bowls has not left her since. She prefers to work in the company of other makers under the motto : “shared craftsmanship and learning together in friendship in the middle of nature in Zulte!
Jan is a musician and music therapist. He works and lives in France and Switzerland. Jan forged his first singing bowl with Ton Akkermans in 2007 and has never stopped doing so. He also crafts instruments out of wood and stone for indoor and outdoor use. In recent years he regularly joins the monthly forging days in Zulte.
Damien is a process facilitator, learning architect and contractor of (deep) change. He guides teams and organizations through their complexities of leadership, collaboration, change, climate.... He forged his first sound bowl in 2018 and has never stopped since. He is the host of Sound Workshop Zulte. https://damienversele.be/en
